Tap Dance

Tap Grades

Pre-Primary to Grade 4. The tap grades combine the best elements of both 'British' and American tap styles. Commencing with basic technique it develops through the grades to the more syncopated work from Grade 3 onward.

Tap Vocational Grades

Intermediate Foundation to Advanced. The work at this level includes more advance work that has been handed down from American teachers who themselves producded choreography for the professionals on stage and screen.

Tap Awards

Pre-Bronze, Bronze, Silver, Gold, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Awards.

Medal Tests

Pre-Bronze to Gold, plus Awards.

Hip Hop

Gaining an increasing popularity, the Hip Hop syllabus is designed to give teachers and students an understanding of the technique required for this 'freestyle' work. Each level commences with a Warm up, followed by various Walks, Moves, Slides, Arm Combos, Isolations and Floor work which develop in increasing complexity. At each level students are encouraged to develop their own style within the framework of the syllabus. Free work is included at each level. PRELIMINARY TO LEVEL 2 available. Higher Levels under construction.
